The Circular Biobased Performance Materials programme consists of a number of research projects. The first projects started in 2010, and nine of them have been completed successfully. Eight new projects took off in 2015, of which two were expanded in 2018. A third series of projects started in 2019.

The projects boost collaboration between large and small companies and from end-user to supplier of raw materials. This enables an entire chain to be set up, from final product to type of biomass.
