Welcome to the SAFE FOODS e-learning site.
The e-learning modules have been developed by the European Framework 6 Project SAFE FOODS, as part of the communication and training activities. They are based on scientific results and presentations generated by researchers in this project.
The modules are aimed at anybody with an interest in food safety, wishing to get a better background, including Risk Assessors, Risk Managers and Risk Communicators.
Areas of expertise
The E-learning courses are meant to facilitate understanding of key issues and the research activities carried out in SAFE FOODS. They provide a comprehensive state-of-the-art overview of ongoing developments in the area of food safety risk analysis and emerging food risks. A broad range of scientific disciplines is covered, ranging from molecular biology, microbiology, toxicology to probabilistic modelling and the social and political sciences.
